A Message From Chief
Miller
Welcome to the Detective Division Home
Page. We are pleased to have you as a
visitor and hope you will visit each one
of the Bureaus that make up the Division.
This Division is blessed with some of the
most talented and skilled investigators in
the World. The investigators are supported
by a diverse and professional civilian
staff and a well trained cadre of Reserve
Investigators and Volunteers. Each member
of the Detective Division is dedicated and
tenacious and I am proud to serve as their
Chief.
My goal during the time I serve as Chief
of Detective Division is to continue to
provide our investigators with the tools
and support they need to keep our
community free from the criminal
element.
We
also encourage each Manager and
Investigator in Detective Division to
serve our diverse community in a manner
which develops and promotes positive
relationships.
Our
goal will be to ensure that all members of
the Los Angeles County Sheriff´s
Department are afforded necessary
preparation and equal opportunity to
succeed in the law enforcement field of
their choice.
