Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are en route to the 4100 block of 161st Street,
Lawndale, to Investigate the Circumstances Surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and the wounding of a male juvenile.

Effective July 10, 2008 LASD has established a temporary female deputy sheriff hiring goal of 20.11%, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Bouman v. Baca Consent Decree.
The goal will be recalculated and published on a quarterly basis. Inquiries regarding the goal
