Volunteer
Programs:

The
community-based program at the Altadena Station provide
invaluable support to the station. These programs include
Volunteers on Patrol, Neighborhood Watch, and business
watch. Volunteers alone donate thousands of hours staging
such events as Open House, the Haunted Jail, Kid Print,
and others that help make the station an integral part
of the community.

Explorer Post at Altadena Station is involved in law enforcement training and competitions. This is to expose young people who may be interested in a career in law enforcement to the daily routine of deputies in the field.
