Station provides police service for the contract
City of Palmdale,as well as 700 square miles of unincorporated
County
area from the Wrightwood ski area to Lake Hughes.
Palmdale City is one of the fastest growing cities in California
and one of the leaders in providing affordable homes to
an increasingly ethnically diverse community.
The
Palmdale Sheriff’s Station is currently applying for
a grant through the
California State Parks and Recreation. We encourage people
to view the
application and submit comments and questions. Palmdale

Grant Application
The
Grants and Cooperative Agreement Program allows for a 30-day
public
review and comment period. This period provides an opportunity
for the public to review the preliminary applications submitted
to the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division
for consideration during the current grant cycle.
The
public may provide comment to both the applicant and the
OHMVR Division by emailing plmohv@lasd.org
and carbon copying (Cc) the OHVMR Division at OHVinfo@parks.ca.gov.
The public comment period begins March 3, 2009, and ends
April 6, 2009.
